Sundberg, in 1983 with a unique involvement of students, academics, advocates and judges. It was originally called the Sporrong and L\u00f6nnroth Moot Court Competition (after the name of the first major Swedish case before the European Court of Human Rights). After Professor Sundberg\u2019s retirement, the competition was renamed The Nordic Moot Court competition in 2004 but continued very much along the same lines as before, with the advocate clubs continuing to play the central role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2023 COMPETITION &#8211; HELSENKI<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ioir.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image-2.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-541\" width=\"365\" height=\"212\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ioir.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image-2.jpeg 504w, https:\/\/ioir.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image-2-300x174.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 365px) 100vw, 365px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition, engaging 10 teams of Nordic law students led by prominent Nordic advocates, took place in Helsinki on 8-10 June 2023. The final stood between the Norwegian team Club SCHJ\u00d8DT and the Finnish Club LEIJONHJERTA.
